Hi, you've reached the voicemail of the greatest Power Ranger of all time Doctor Tommy Oliver. If this is about Paleontology class, press one. If it's about Driver's Ed, press two. If it's anything else, press three. If this is Justin Stewart- how the hell did you get this number?

Was fully intending to be home in time to post karate workshop by noon.

That? Didn't happen. Because the universe hates me. I only *just* got home now, rar.

So, today's karate workshop is cancelled. Will be back to business as usual next week though! (especially since my practicum should be overwith by then and thus I won't have those pesky "real life" concerns intruding on RP time)

As I mentioned over in [info]bridge_carson's journal, I'm coming up on the home stretch of my final semester of University. As such, I'm taking a break from FH for the week in order to work on all of my papers and stuff. So... Tommy's off investigating some unusual fossils in some remote corner of the globe or something, and his classes are cancelled.

Okay, so, yes. As some of you know, I have a bunch of papers due tomorrow. And I've put them off until today.

Tommy's classes will be posted later than usual, because I just don't have *time* to write out that much right now.

After I finish the cafeteria scene, Bridge is also gonna be inexplicably un-track-downable for the rest of the day as well. He'll probably be around on Thursday, though. At least, after I've gone to my class (since I'll be working on this paper till the last minute, I bet)

...is cancelled, on account of the fact that I forgot to ask if someone could post Wednesday's class and so it, well, wasn't. With it being a once-a-week class, I'd rather keep things so that both classes have the same lesson each week, so yeah.

FEAR next week's classes, though. FEEEAR.

After recieving a rather cryptic phone call from Hayley, Tommy hurriedly packs his bags and heads out the door. Halfway down the street, he facepalms.

"Awww, man!"

He runs back into the house, scribbling a quick note, and then runs back out again.

Emergency came up. Can someone cover my classes for tomorrow? Paleontology, 7th Period. And Driver's Ed, 8th Period.

Thks,
Tommy

He then runs back outside and starts walking towards the causeway to the mainland.

Grading Scale:

A+: Student shows up for and participates in all classes, and writes out all assignments.
A: Student shows up for and participates in all classes, and writes out most of the assignments.
B+: Student shows up for most classes, makes a good effort to participate the majority of the time, and writes out most of the assignments.
B: Student shows up for most classes, makes a good effort to participate some of the time, and writes out some of the assignments.
C: Student shows up for classes.

(OOC: In other words? If I post a discussion topic or other sort of interactive activity- actually RPing out a conversation will get you more credit than just posting saying that your student completed the activity. Likewise, actually going and finding an image from the Internets or writing out 100-word assignments will give you more credit than just posting your student handing in a paper.)

Attendance Policy:

Students are allowed one IC unexcused absence without any consequences. Anything other than that, they’ll need either a doctor’s note from the clinic, or a note from an IC school admin. OOC absences are, of course, a different story: if you know ahead of time that you won’t be around for a class, let me know. If something comes up last minute, let me know. There will be no IC penalties as long as you do this for me :)

Field Trips:

Paleo will have one field trip. Slowplayed over a weekend that will be determined upon input from you guys. Everyone will be expected to attend and participate, please.

Sometime in Fall, 2005:

He had email.

Which, okay, in and of itself, was not so strange. It was the 21st century. People got email. Even Tommy Oliver, who was not exactly what you’d call "with it" when it came to technology. No, the fact that he had email was completely normal. It was the contents of the email that were unusual.

Tommy stared at the email, feeling just a little bit unnerved. He fumbled for the phone and dialed a number that he knew by heart.

"Hello, Hayley...? Oh, uh, sorry. Wrong number. Sorry to wake you up." He hung up the phone and tried again.

"Hayley? Yeah, it's Tommy. Yeah, I know it's three in the morning. I got this email. No, I do not need instructions on how to reply to an email. I know how to do that. I need you to trace it for me. Okay, good. Okay, how do you do that? I’m not seeing a button that says 'forward! I'm telling you, it's not th- oh, now I see it. Okay, I'm sending it to you. How long is this gonna take? Cool, call me back with what you find out."

He hung up the phone and stared at the email some more. Then he went to heat up the leftover pizza from last night. Then he stared at the email some more. Finally, the phone rang.

"Hayley? What'd you find out? What do you mean, 'untraceable'? I thought you knew your way around all that high-tech stuff. Okay, okay, don't bite my head off. Thanks anyway. Go back to sleep."

He hung up the phone and stared at the email some more, before finally making a decision and hitting 'reply'. After a frustrating ten minutes, he finally figured out how to attach a document and then clicked "send".

Well. This could be interesting.
